Mary Louise Kail, age 93 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray; granddaughter, Heather Gamble; sister, Joan Baker. She is survived by her children, Stephen Kail, Debby (Keith) Robb, David S. Kail; grandchildren, Melissa (Jon) Buckles, Sara (Evan) Willingham, Raymond Ross Kail II, Mary Kail, David A. Kail, Katie (John) LeClair, Christopher Kail, Jes (Rob) VanderRoest, Jake (Becca) Robb, Evan (Sara) Robb; great grandchildren, Madison, Isabel Mina, Sasha Oliver, Avery, Britt, Grace, Eva, Zaya, Troy and Elizabeth. Mary was a graduate of Bowling Green University and taught at Kellogsville Public Schools. She volunteered at Blodgett Hospital, was an active member at South Congregational Church, and a docent for Gerald R. Ford Museum. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed traveling, and was a gracious and devoted grandmother. Funeral Service will be Saturday 2:00 p.m. at Plymouth United Church of Christ, 4010 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids. Rev. Douglas VanDoren officiating.
