As the matriarch of a wonderfully close-knit family, Peggy was an amazingly selfless angel. She took great pride in taking care of her family and her best days were spent planning and cooking for holidays, birthdays and family get togethers. She gladly opened her home to all. A really good day consisted of lots of food, family and fun, and always featured her laughing heart, sharp wit and contagious charm. Other interests included shopping trips with the girls, visiting her favorite restaurants, watching FOX News, a University of Michigan sporting event, collecting figurines and spreading good luck with her Family Elephants. Founded in her Catholic faith, Peggy met every challenge head on with courage, positivity and determination. Her faith-based strength moved mountains and belied her size. She was the definition of class and a miracle to all who knew her. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6 from 4-7 PM with a Rosary at 5 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
