  5. Dick and Irene have been such wonderful friends for many years. Dick was always a warm, welcoming man and a joy to know. All of us in our IHM community will miss him and pledge to remember him and his family in our prayers during this difficult time. Mary Passinault and Family

  6. Dick and Irene have been such an important part of IHM’s history. Since I have served at IHM as a newly ordained priest and later as pastor, they have been an important part of my history. Always kind and caring, Dick will be missed by many. A Saturday wedding in Spring Lake will keep me from the funeral. But I promise to celebrate Mass for Dick and his loved ones very soon.

  7. What a wonderful life! Dick was a true gentleman—a business contact, fellow IHM parishioner, my sponsor in the Serra International Vocations Apostolate in 1974,…and friend. Ellen’s and my condolences and those of his fellow Serrans go out to Dick’s wife Irene, son Tom, and to the entire English family.

  8. I first met Dick in early 2011. It has been a sincere pleasure to have had the opportunity to share some special moments at family gatherings in these years. Dick was a truly respectful and respected gentleman.

The English family is very fortunate to have been blessed with Dick as a pioneer and leader in family life together.

  9. Rest in Peace, Dick English. A kinder, gentler man I’ve never met. A live well-lived.
