Robert Charles “Bob” Tomko, age 47, of Ada, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 27, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Allison; sons, Austin and Daniel; parents, Robert Tomko and Patricia Clark Tomko; sister, Denise (David) Kiefer; brother, Steven (Karen) Tomko; father-in-law, Daniel (Kathleen) Dunn; brother-in-law, David (Patricia) Dunn; sister-in-law, Carole Dunn. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Dunn. Bob was a passionate father, putting his children above all else. He could be found playing whatever sport was in season with his boys, rooting for them at their events, and encouraging them in their academic endeavors. Bob found an extended family with the Forest Hills Central Wrestlers. He believed in the mission and the values that the coaches and the sport instilled in his sons. Bob was also an avid hunter. He looked forward each year to the Fall season, and hoped to share with his sons the excitement and enjoyment he received from his various hunting pursuits. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 AM at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Rev. Leonard Sudlik, presiding. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a vigil service at 6:00 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
