Robert William Keech Sr., 85, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Daryl E. Keech (Ward), and his granddaughter, Abigail Keech. He is survived by his children, Yvonne (Robert) Ortiz, Pamela Henning, Robert (Teri) Keech Jr., Gordon ( Lori) Keech, Brenda (Ken) Braginton, and Randall (Bonnie) Keech; brothers, Jack and Roger Keech; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as, several nieces and nephews. Robert was born in Lowell, MI, and later married Daryl E. Ward, and together they raised their family in Saranac, MI. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy, and worked various jobs to provide for his family. Robert was a kind person, who loved his family and wife. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, playing cards and motorcycles. Robert was also an avid reader, who collected numerous books in his retirement. A private family service will be held at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell with Rich Karelse, Certified Celebrant officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery.
