Rodney Lee Brehm, age 72, of Ada MI passed away on Friday, June 4th, 2021, at Spectrum Hospital surrounded by family and friends.  He was born to parents Elaine Strauss and Galen Brehm on September 1st, 1948, in Morenci, MI.  Rodney graduated from Waldron High School and received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Western Michigan University.  He is survived by his son, Tom Schumaker; daughter, Melissa Sullivan; brothers, Maynard and William (Bill) Brehm; stepbrother, Paul; and his four grandchildren.  Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Galen Brehm; mother, Elaine Wilson; stepfather, Mervin Wilson; and brothers, Lester and Jim Brehm. Rodney was known for the passion he had in his career field and found great joy in teaching others. Rodney enjoyed skiing, cycling, traveling, pure Michigan, and learning something new every day.   1. Rodney was a true professional in his field. I had the pleasure of working with him as a colleague and a friend. I will miss his intelligence, his insight, his professionalism and his wit!

  2. I remember Rod from those days growing up back in the old neighborhood near Waldron. Condolences to the Brahm family.

  3. A very long month, my ex husband died June 4th we were married for 17 years. He was like Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory, he was a wizard of computer coding. He will be missed because he was unique!
