Ronald L. Baker, age 88 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife June; parents Carl and Doris Baker. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Walton; sons David (Anita) Baker, Doran Baker; step-daughters Lani (Keith) Destree, Nancy Chichester; step-son Harry (Darlene) Chichester; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; also great great grandchildren. Ron proudly served in the United States Army. The family will meet with friends and relatives Friday 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. Funeral Service will be Saturday 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dan Currie of North Park Baptist officiating. Interment Fairplains Cemetery.
