Susanne Pangborn, age 45 of Lakeview, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Spence; and step-father, Gregory Mercer. She is survived by her husband, Shandell; sons Max (McKenzie), Spence; mother, Sherry (David) Kruithoff; mother-in-law, Grace Thompson; grandmother, Cletus Shook; brother, Todd (Kris) Spence; sisters, Wendy (Dale) Davis, Shelly (Chris) VanVlerah; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; many nieces and nephews and friends at Wesco. Susanne was a 16-year employee at Wesco gas stations. In her spare time, she had a passion for writing and reading. She enjoyed video games and all genres of music. Aside from her dislike of dirt and bugs, Susanne was an outdoor enthusiast. She was also very skilled with numbers and known as the family mathematician. While fighting her cancer battle, Susanne kept the motto, “I am a strong, independent cancer patient”. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-7 on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral services will take place at 11am on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Ken Ford officiating. Interment Cato Cemetery.
