Timothy Aaron Bush, age 44 of Zeeland, Michigan unexpectedly passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018.  He was born on October 5, 1973, to the late Robert Bush and Linda (Maxwell) Bush. Tim is survived by his mother, Linda; sister, Nancy (Michael) Doss; and brothers, David (Elizabeth) Bush, Steven (Jill) Bush and Gregory Bush; seven nieces and nephews, Lauren and Jonathan Doss, Zachary and Alexandria Bush, Ashley, Austin and Andrew Bush. Tim graduated from Forest Hills Central High School where he was a member of the FHC Ranger hockey team. His love of hockey continued as he watched and supported the Detroit Red Wings. Tim graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Business Administration. While at WMU, keeping with family tradition, Tim was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He made numerous friendships which continued into adulthood. While in high school and after college, Tim worked at Woodland International Trucks, Inc. as a sales associate for many years. In total, Tim’s career in the trucking industry spanned 20+ years. Tim had a dynamic personality and was the favorite “fun” uncle to his nieces and nephews.  As the “fun” uncle, he often entertained and shared quite a few funny stories with his nieces and nephews. They enjoyed hearing some of Tim’s nicknames which carried over from his childhood like Scrumby, Monk and Bushman. Tim was an avid outdoorsman! He was very proud of his two prize Wiemaraner dogs and enjoyed exercising them outdoors. He was very fond of turkey and deer hunting seasons in northern Michigan. He especially enjoyed hunting camaraderie with his late father, brother Steve and friends.  He enjoyed hunting ducks and geese and fishing on Drummond Island, power boating on Lake Michigan, snowmobiling, riding quads, hiking, tobogganing and ice skating with family and friends. Tim was a fun guy to be around; always with a smile on his face and something encouraging to say! He was intelligent with a sharp memory and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Tim was dearly  loved and will be missed everyday by his family and friends.  Tim was known for his kindness to others. In lieu of flowers, please make an extra attempt to spread acts of kindness and kind words to all mankind. Tim would be very proud! Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Bush family wishes to thank Fr. Leonard Sudlik for his comforting words, compassion and assistance during a very difficult time. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Watermark Country Club, 5500 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
