Uldis A. Kalejs, age 92 of Grand Rapids, born in Latvia, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna; children, Uldis (Lucija) Kalejs, Guntis (Victoria) Kalejs, Nora (James) Brizzolara; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jennifer, Laura and Marisa; great grandson, Maxwell. Funeral service will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. at Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Ilze Larsen. Visitation one hour prior at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Latvian Occupation Museum (Latvijas Okupacijas Muzejam) or the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1780 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
