Virginia Ellen (Scribner) Ogg, age 73 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Scribner; and in-laws, Lloyd and Ruby Ogg. Virginia is survived by her husband, Jerry Ogg; mother, Elizabeth Scribner; children, Jeff (Christy) Ogg, Brian Ogg, Rebecca (Jason) Bush; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara (Brian) McCort. She was a happy go lucky lady who loved being around others. She enjoyed all types of music from Siberian Orchestra, Beethoven, and Metallica. Virginia enjoyed doing arts and crafts in her leisure time. Her pride and joy were her cats. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Prayers to Ginny’s family. I remember her from when I worked with her in Grand Rapids and was so glad we reconnected on Facebook. She was always a joy to be around.
A wonderful lady who was sweet kind and giving. I remember she took me and my friend toy first real concert and to see Purple Rain some memories that can not be forgotten in my mind. You will be greatly missed fly high angel Aunt Ginny.
