William Barry Levy, age 61 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Aileen Levy; and brother, Michael Levy. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; children, John (Heather) Zak, Yolanda (Levy) (Clint) Boyd, Rachel (Levy) (Jake) Heydlauff, Joseph Wilson, Jennifer Wilson; sisters, Barbara Levy (David) Messenger, Robbin Levy (Chris Mommsen); Robbin’s mother Lois Levy; grandchildren, Malcolm and Kira Boyd, Jacob and Jameson Zak; also several nieces and nephews. Bill was a graduate of MSU and an avid Spartan fan. He was the owner and president of Turner Industries. Bill enjoyed traveling, swimming and golf as a member of Cascade Hills Country Club. His greatest love was that of his family. Services will be held at Temple Emanuel, 1715 E. Fulton Ave, Grand Rapids on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Burial immediately following the service at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids.
